The Frequency of Fire is a science-fiction micro-play about the human condition in a dystopian world governed by technocracies that control natural resources and turn human vital signs into computational data. Confronted with this machinery of measurement and control, the play raises a question about the irreducible nature of human experience—what no measurement can fully capture.
